Please include a paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the cat(s) and other animals in the photo. Which cat is diabetic? Is one or more a DCIN rescue? How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Bear (or BearBear) was an amazing cat. I did not have enough time with him. He was the first DCIN foster that I adopted. He was in two foster homes for a year and 8 months. I waited almost 4 months without a cat, after my last cat passed away. Bear was doing well in his foster home with the other cats, and that is something I wanted, because I wanted to get a second cat eventually.

Bear adapted very fast to my home. He was 9 when he came to me but you wouldn’t know it, he loved to play with his fishing pole toy, and would run and run chasing it. He had an amazing purr. Eventually he let me cuddle him but would have that look on his face that kindergarteners have on their face when mom tries to hug them in front of their classmates. He loved to play with my hair in the morning-both chewing and swatting it. He likes to sleep between my legs. Bear was so patient with Sarjenka, who I adopted 10 months later. He was trying to woo her but she wasn’t having it. I just loved him so much. Losing him to DKA (among other medical issues) after being his mom for only 2 years and 3 months was a huge shock for me. Please show BearBear over the Bridge that you haven’t forgotten him by voting!
