Meet Bailey. A rescue in Ottawa, ON reached out to DCIN about this gorgeous 11 year old Himalayan boy who needed to be rehomed because his family couldn't properly meet his needs. We had a possible adopter in the USA, but the family didn't want him travelling that far. No further interest, so I offered to adopt and was approved. Bailey has been with us since March 2016 and has adapted to our family very well. He was very fearful at first and used to run down to the basement to hide. We take him motor homing with us, which he loves. His blood glucose is very well regulated and lately he hasn't been needing 2 shots of insulin a day. He is a funny boy and likes nothing better than sitting in my lap while I am on the computer or watching TV. Of course there must be a 10 minute kneading and purring session before he can settle
