Please include a paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the cat(s) and other animals in the photo. Which cat is diabetic? Is one or more a DCIN rescue? How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Lucky is a recent foster for CATS Cradle Shelter; he just moved into another foster home to make room for a new diabetic cat. Lucky was surrendered to a vet's office when his family believed he had diabetes. A blood glucose by the vet confirmed that suspicion.
Lucky came to use with severe diabetic neuropathy, he just drug his back legs most of the time not even trying to walk on them. When Lucky left for his new foster home his diabetes was diet controlled and his neuropathy was clearing up enough that Lucky was jumping into his favorite chair and running down the hall when it was supper time.
Lucky is a sweet sweet boy. He craves attention from people. Because of his neuropathy he doesn't like being picked up that much, but that's ok because he will get himself beside you and then into your lap! Lucky is hoping for a home that continues his diabetic appropriate diet so that he remains in remission and continues to help him get his neuropathy cleared up.
