Two years ago Tabitha was homeless. She is declawed in front and I just couldn't turn her away. I was going to get her into our local Humane Society but she was having a hard time adjusting to being homeless. Over the Christmas holidays I noticed she was not well. Turned out she is diabetic. She and I worked real hard and got her into remission in about two months time with the great help from Feline Diabetes Message Board - FDMB. Couldn't have done it without their help. So you can now call me a foster failure. Tabitha and I have gone through a lot together in our short relationship so she is now a part of my family which includes another cat, Marcus, who was adopted from our local Humane Society. Note: They are both on a catkins diet.
