Shizzy was a major part of our family for 8 years and diabetic for 5 of them. We adopted her from a local shelter when she was 8 - it was said that she had lived in a home with 6 dogs and was turned into the shelter because her humans were allergic...she came to us with the "formal" name of Shizgig, origin unknown, but was always Shizzy to us.

She ruled our roost, living with 2 English Bull Terriers, then a Corgi and a Bull Terrier. She was full of spunk and grace and usually thought of herself as a dog. We miss our dear Shiz - she went over the Rainbow Bridge in 2013 at the age of 16.

Her heart was a big as her huge double paws!
