Please include a short paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the cat(s) and other animals in the photo. Which cat is diabetic? Is one or more a DCIN rescue? How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Bear, or BearBear as he is nicknamed, was a DCIN foster kitty for 19 months, in 2 different wonderful foster homes. He was given up at 8 years old because the family didn't want to deal with the diabetes (despite having a diabetic daughter) , but they did find DCIN. He is a love! He wakes me up by chewing on my hair. He gets a bit fresh when he is done with petting and when he is hungry, but never bites hard. Bear was so patient when his new sister Sarjenka (FKA Sandy) came. She didn't want anything to do with him and told him so, but he was so gentlemanly and waited for her. Of course now he likes to push her buttons sometimes. He is insulin dependent and likely to be for life. He joined me in August of 2013.
