Dubbed "Cy" short for Cyclops by staff at King George Animal Shelter when he was left there in December 2012 by the owner in hopes that he would be euthanized, this older gentle kitty was quite sick. When it was discovered he was diabetic he was administered insulin, however, the dosage was too much and left him hypoglycemic and fighting for his life. This gentle loving cat who had one eye and three quarters of a tail captured the heart of his adoptive mom as well as extraordinary cat rescuer Ronda Dalton who nursed her foster back to health. In April 2013, he flew to his new home in Colorado. Julius is most loving cat with the calmest personality and is just adored by his mom. For an animal that had so many strikes against him, he is a shining example of how a loving heart and a will to live can beat all odds.
