Addy was adopted from the Montgomery County MD Animal Shelter only to be returned because of multiple medical concerns including diabetes and because she was much older than the shelter had stated. She was again adopted out only to be returned 3 months later when her owner was hospitalized. Fearing that this 10 year old girl who had been bounced around would have a hard time returning to shelter life, a desperate plea went out from the shelter staff and cat rescuer Ronda Dalton. With help from the DCIN family Addy landed in her forever home on July 1, 2015. She has gained weight and is enjoying life.
