Hi, my name is Bagheera and I was born on the wrong foot, literally. As a polydactyl bengal, I was not up to breed standard so I went to a rescue group. It didn't matter to my human, who fell in love with a tiny little mitten kitten.
The human, my brofur Pepe, and I lived a happy life together. Pepe had to leave us in 2011, and I was joined by my sisfur Jacey, who is another bengal. Between the two of us, we drove the human crazy with our bengal antics, but he loved us anyway.
In the summer of 2012, I was diagnosed as a diabetic cat. It is a good thing the human takes me to the humans in white coats annually, because he did not suspect anything was wrong with me.
I have since learned to endure the ear sticks and insulin shots that a diabetic cat needs in order to control the disease. And I have a website that I use to let people know that diabetic cats like me may need insulin shots and blood testing, but that doesn't mean we can't be happy, playful, and fun cats!
