How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Zoe was adopted after being in a shelter for over a year, when she came to us, she was a timid little girl that didn't know what toys were or how to jump onto laps, tables, chairs etc. After a lot of work, including showing her how to play with toys ( yes getting on the floor and playing with furry mice!) and catching her when she didn't make it onto the chair....she learned that toys are fun and people are ok too! She was diagnosed diabetic in 2009 and after finding FDMB and learning all I could, she went into remission for 2 years. Zoe loved sunshine, furry mice and her family, she did not like our pool - after falling in one time, we discovered she could swim. She was smart enough to sit out in the screened in lanai under an umbrella when it was raining. Zoe crossed the bridge in 2014 but impacted me in a big way. I learned patience and how to care for a very special kitty (she had multiple health issues). She loved us as much we loved her.
