How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
I adopted Ollie on October 18, 2014 from Hart of Maine. I fell in love with him when I was part of a transport that got him from a bad situation in Virginia to Hart of Maine 3 months earlier but I couldn't bring him home until I learned more about how he got along with other cats. My fur family at home already was my priority. But everything turned out great, and after three months all the news was good and once again with the help of friends Ollie was transported from Maine to NJ. I promised him on the way home it would be the last time. From the first hour at his new home he made himself part of the family..no crate for him! He pushed his way into everyone's heart within 24 hours. Ollie was funny and sweet and very playful and luckily OTJ because he was a terror to test. About two weeks after I brought him home he started sleeping too much. Then he stopped eating. He was running a high fever that would not go away. My vet right away suggested what I feared but I was hoping he was wrong anyway. On November 21, 2014 my sweet Ollie died from FIP. He was about 5 years old. I didn't get to love him for a long time but I will hold him in my heart forever.
