I saw Louie (cat on the right) on DCIN's website and had to rescue him! He was living outside in New York State, not getting his insulin or eating on a regular basis. I brought him home to NJ in November 2009 where he lives happily with 9 other cats including another diabetic (cat on the left). He gained 5 lbs. and is a sweet, sweet boy. Unfortunately, he had to have all his teeth removed from lack of care & treatment and also has cloudy eyes. He doesn't realize he is different! "Lou Lou" loves laying on his bed in the sun.
