How long have the animals been a part of your family? Give some interesting information about the animal(s) in the photo that will encourage others to vote for your photo.
Nanner is a very vocal Lynx Point Siamese boy. I don't know much about his past, but he ended up in a great foster home in the midwest after his diabetes diagnosis. Thanks to DCIN, Nanner flew him to me on one of the hottest days in 2011, and he was temporarily stranded in the Newark, NJ airport when planes decided not to transport pets due to the heat. I remember calling the airport kennel to check up on him, and one of the workers there raved about Nanner and how cute and chatty he was. I knew then that he was going to be a great cat, and he certainly has been. His diabetes has sometimes been a struggle, but he's very resilient and takes it all in stride. He makes me laugh and we have great conversations.
