Akira was rescued by Frosted Faces Foundation in Ramona, CA in March 2024, when her caregiver was moved into an assisted living facility. Akira is paralyzed in the back, but that doesn't stop her from putting on wheels and walking for miles or playing fetch. She has been patiently waiting for a family to step up to foster or adopt her. Akira gets along with all dogs and is a volunteer favorite because she's so happy and affectionate.
