Doberman's Story or Bio
We rescued Akaya from DVDPA in August 2009. She was 8 months old and a petit girl. She quickly captured our hearts! I was her hooman but her daddy was her buddy. When he passed in January 2023, we helped each other through the grieving process. I lost her in 2023, just 10 months later. She was a few days shy of her 15th birthday. She was the best dog I've ever had, and I was lucky to have her in my life. And she was an expert in using pillows! Miss my sweet girl.
