Dori came to us several weeks after being one of 600 dogs seized by the sheriff in a horrific Puppy Mill raid in Western Washington in 2009.
She was one of the lucky ones, many of those dogs did not make it.
When she came to us, our heart would break to look into her eyes & see nothing there. It took months loving this sweet, quiet girl & finally she started to blossom. I remember the day I was looking into her eyes & almost cried because for the first time I saw there was life & light behind those eyes.
Day after day after day, she continues to reveal more personality & is just the silliest funny little girl!
She is the social director in our neighborhood. She loves everyone & everyone loves her. No one can believe her terrible past & we hope she has forgotten too!
