Meet Maggie Simmons! Maggie was adopted from the Polk County Florida Humane Society when she was 6 months old. We adopted Maggie on a Saturday afternoon and brought her home to introduce her to her brothers (who she loves!). Three days later on Monday night, she started having trouble breathing so we took her to an emergency vet in Naples around midnight. She spent the next several days in the hospital with Pneumonia and had to have follow up x-rays for the next 8 weeks to confirm she was completely over her illness. She is now full of life, energy, and a large part of our family. We are so happy to have Maggie in our lives; she has truly been a blessing.
