Shadow, then Oreo, found himself in a kill shelter 2 years ago. Thankfully Tri-county rescue in Boca swooped in before kill day and saved his life. He stayed at their shelter for 6 months before my husband adopted him as a surprise for our 3rd wedding anniversary. I say it in truth, we didn't save him, he saved us.
