I rescued Murphy in Dec. 2013 and fell in love with him the moment I saw him. He is a lovable, sweet, smart, mini, long hair dachshund, bow-legged redhead, weighing 11.5 lbs. My husband and I say that we hit the jackpot when we adopted him. He keeps us laughing all the time and has brought so much joy to our home and hearts. He touches everyone he meets along the sidewalks of walks we take. People pull over to look at him and smile or yell 'dachshund' out the window. Women stop me on our walks and say, "Look at that hair color"! He's a bright shining star! Thank you DRSF for allowing us to have this sweet lovable boy. I couldn't have asked for a more lovable little boy known as Murphy with an alias name Cowboy. Thank you DRSF!
