Chester's story is a long one... he was surrendered to a dog rescue where I volunteer. He was adopted but escaped less than 2 hours after the adoption was complete. All of the rescue members spent 6 days searching for him non stop. When we got him back and his adoptive family no longer wanted him. My husband I and I decided to foster him. He fit in so well ...which says a lot since we have two german shepherds. I started to realize why people love this breed. Smart, head strong, loyal, loving and full of personality. Three months into his stay here, we decided to that he had found his forever home. We "failed" fostering 101. But it was the best failure of my life. We love this little Dapple Darling more than words can say.
