Artemis is a DRSF alum. She is a 3yo Chiweenie, adopted February 2023. Her foster mom sent Duckie with her on her adoption day, and big brother Orion fell in love with Duckie.
Orion is 16 and a doxie mix, not sure what he is mixed with, but he has long legs.
Artemis and Orion live in Melbourne, and usually ignore the many rocket launches. But the Falcon Heavy boosters double sonic booms were not appreciated at all. Barking was needed to scare the noise monsters away. They were successful.
Artemis is especially vigilant, defending her home from squirrels, lizards, birds, mail carriers, parcel deliverers, the lawn guy, and the bug guy, and invisible monsters only she can see and hear. Orion being a senior pup, allows his sister to take that role now. He prefers to sleep.
Artemis is a Daddy's girl, Orion a Mommy's boy.
