Our fate was written in the stars the moment my mom decided to end her VERY late Miami night with a casual scroll through weenie dogs for rescue.

It was love at first sight: I was her short-legged, big eared weenie ready to be her burrowing bedmate, and she was the key to endless adventures (but mostly snacks and naps).

My mom saw past the chemical burns on my face from my previous life, and she didn't care that I needed time to trust again. We traveled, partied, laughed and snuggled. We took tons of pictures and made the best memories.... she even made me instagram famous!

She decided to give me a brother 3 years ago, and he loves me even more than she does! My hooman brother, Cameron, is all I needed for my perfect life to be complete. Love, Rusty aka Rustimon (DRSF Class of 2012)
