I came to live with Kevin and Eda and Trudy (a dachshund mix from the Dachshund Rescue in South Florida) as a 12 week old puppy. They named me Bear because of my fat little paws that looked like bear claws. My former owners kept the rest of the litter, because they couldn’t part with another puppy. We still have play dates with my litter mates. Trudy is always invited, but just likes to watch.
