A little about me...
Uma was rescued from DRSF in January 2019 by Brian Collins. Uma and Brian shared an instant bond, which unfortunately ended too soon when Brian passed away on June 8th, 2020. Uma now lives with Brian's parents who love her very much.

Confirmed part-Dachshund but unsure of her other genes, she is 100% adorable and an absolute sweetheart. When she’s not on self-appointed guard dog duty, Uma’s hilariously outsized personality shines through. Digging is among her favorite pastimes, and she has several yard-deep holes in the lawn to show for it. Uma enjoys long walks, playing with her favorite toy, barking at other dogs, and being near (ideally touching) her humans at all times. Uma also loves to relax and curl up like a donut while nuzzling under blankets, and she never turns down a belly rub.

Uma loves and misses Brian, but she knows he is watching over her.
