Your Dog's Story or Bio
Rusty was adopted from Dachshund Rescue South Florida (where he was called Calum) in June of 2018.

He was picked up as a stray in Miami, underweight and with severe periodontal disease. He had to have his remaining teeth removed so now he eats his food like a soup and makes a giant mess, especially when he sneezes after each meal.

He doesn't see or hear well, never barks and hops like a rabbit when he's excited. Now he has a back yard, three square meals a day and more love and attention than he could have ever asked for. Rusty is the sweetest soul and the best part of my day.
