Smudge lived in a hoarding situation with 75 other dogs. She has scars all over her hind end where other dogs would bite her. She was rescued 10 years ago and lives a life of luxury now.

She went blind in one eye and had to have the other removed, she is almost deaf, has no teeth and was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease 3 years ago.

She is on a homemade, high quality diet and visits a homeopathic doc for natural healing, massage and acupuncture. We also have a great traditional vet that partners beautifully with the homeopathic vet.

She wasn't expected to live a long life based on her early history, but I am so glad she did. She has outlived her 3 other rescued "brothers and sisters". Here's to many more years!
