Schatzi spent the first 6 years of her life in a puppy mill. She was rescued from there only to be abused by her adopters. They broke her back in three places, broke her nose and kicked her in the head so powerfully that it knocked the pupils in her eyes into three pieces. If you look closely you can see that they now look like paw prints. She was just diagnosed with Cushing's Disease. Remarkably, she is happy now, loves food even though she has 5 teeth left and walks with a little wabble. But I love her!
