Pumbaa was my first dachshund. He was at the local shelter when I saw him on their website. He was sitting straight up on his back legs in the picture. Looked like a mini version of my red doberman, who ended up being his best friend. He was only part of my family for 2 years but he profoundly changed my life. And me. I have loved the breed ever since...especially the seniors. Zazu & Raisin were adopted about 6-8 months later, also rescues, and still keep me entertained. They are a true pleasure & always entertaining. Although bath time is not a favorite...
