Your Dog's Story or Bio
Bentley was born in Giebelstadt, Germany in 2003 at a breeder who raised Dachshunds and Collies. Because of this exposure to other breeds, he was well socialized, and tended to befriend large dogs as a puppy. At the age of 12 weeks, he moved into his forever home, which at that time was located in Seeheim-Jugenheim, Germany. Bentley has had many interests over the years to include chasing squirrels, chewing on treats (loves chicken and cheese), and travelling. Bentley has journeyed around mainland Europe to such places as Monte-Carlo, Monaco. Bentley received his U.S. citizenship in 2006, when he moved with his dad across the Atlantic to Virginia. Bentley's most recent hobby is yachting, as shown in the accompanying photo preparing to navigate his ship out to explore the Potomac River.
