Hi there - my name is Lettie; that means "footloose" or "joy" and I am certainly a joyful little gal. I came to WCHS from Fox Valley Humane Association but I am originally from an over-crowded shelter in Mobile, Alabama. Although I am a southern gal at heart, I am thrilled to be looking for my new home in southeastern Wisconsin. I have a gorgeous auburn red coat and hazel eyes that twinkle. When I am grown I know I will be captivating and people will notice me. I would be good with other dogs in my new home. I would be good with cats too because they scare me a little bit. I think it would be a blast to live with children of any age because we could play all day and cuddle all night. I am only about 17 pounds right now but I do plan on growing a bit. Since I am just a pup I know I have a lot to learn. I need to learn about something called house-training so I learn proper potty behavior. With the right protocol I know that will be a breeze. I also need to practice walking on a leash and would love to go for a long walk every day to get really good at that. I am excellent with all sort of handling. I also have awesome manners with my food bowl and other valuable resources. I am intelligent, kind and outgoing and I will be loyal, loving and patient; I know we can have a marvelous life together.
