Rules

• Donations (votes) are tax-deductible by law. Please save your credit card receipts for your tax records. Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. 

• Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote. When you donate to vote, you will receive a "bank" of votes for the amount of your donation (e.g., $5 donation equals 5 votes). These votes then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place them on multiple entries. Each donation has a required $5 minimum. 

• Vote as often as you like.

• We encourage you to share the contest link via email and all social media options with family and friends. Encourage them to vote for your favorite contestant's photo and to continue sharing with their extended friends and families via all media sharing venues.

• All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page.

• Contest payments are through a safe secure and encrypted site.

• Photos may contain one or more pets

• Any image or content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent or obscene, as determined by the staff of Colorado Puppy Rescue, will be removed from the Photo Fundraiser.

• If people are included in the photo, they must be willing to have that photo published.

• Photographs may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast, or sharpness adjustments)

• Photographs must either feature pets owned by the entrant, OR the entrant must have permission from the pet's owner to submit their pet's image.

• Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes). Generally, photos taken with mobile phones are not high-enough resolution. Photos should be in .JPEG format.

• Once entered, photos become the property of the Colorado Puppy Rescue to be used for print and marketing purposes.

Photos become the property of Colorado Puppy Rescue. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. Colorado Puppy Rescue reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you. You agree to indemnify Colorado Puppy Rescue and hold them harmless from and against any claims of any nature arising in connection with the 2017 Colorado Puppy Rescue Calendar Photo Contest. Entrants grant Colorado Puppy Rescue all rights of ownership, reproduction and royalty-free indiscriminate use of entries and photographs for any purpose. By submitting a photo to the 2017 Colorado Puppy Rescue Calendar Photo Contest, the artist agrees to give and grant to Colorado Puppy Rescue, its employees, nominees, agents, successors and assigns, unlimited authorization, consent and permission to publish and use, any and all information about the animal and any and all reproductions of animal's likeness (photographic or otherwise), and with or without the use or disclosure of guardian's name.
