We saw Kona on the Colorado Puppy Rescue site the night before the event. We quickly signed up for a time, and upon arriving the next day, a worker told us he had been claimed. I was heartbroken, but out of the corner of my eye I saw those blue eyes underneath another puppy in a cage. She had mistaken another husky being adopted as him, and we were able to see him immediately. My husband and I didn't even have to confirm with one another, he was ours the moment we saw him. Kona is now 2.5 years old and has a brother and a newly adopted sister too! We are so thankful to the rescue, our lives would be incomplete without him <3.
