Zoey's mama was rescued from a high kill shelter in Ohio when she was pregnant with her puppies. They were shipped to a rescue in PA, where Zoey soon found her way to our family. It was hard to choose one, but when Zoey rolled onto her back to show us her belly, she stole our hearts and sealed the deal! The love and joy she has brought to our lives since that day cannot be measured, despite a very unlucky hand she was dealt in life. At just 18 months, she was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy following her first seizure, and she's been on quite a rocky medical roller coaster ride since then. But despite her many different medications, blood tests, Dr. appointments and hospitalizations, her amazing spirit and love of life has remained perfectly intact, and at 9 years old, she continues to brighten our world every day.❤️
