A little about me...
Eli is one of the most sensitive and loving dogs I've ever met, but has spent a part of his life being misunderstood because of his reactivity. He was my foster dog, who got adopted and returned, because of his severe reactivity. Knowing his incredible potential, he became a "foster fail" and together we started the journey to learn more about reactivity and how to I could help grow his confidence and lessen his fears. Over two years, and with the help and guidance of many amazing local dog resources and trainers, Eli's reactivity has significantly lessened and his goofy, loving personality has been able to shine. He will never be the dog I can take to the bar patio down the street, but he is the dog for hiking and outdoor adventures in our local parks, playing goalie in the backyard with his collection of soccer balls and snuggling on the couch in the evenings. He loves people and has amassed a large network of people friends. He loves other dogs and welcomed a puppy sister into his home last year. Eli challenged me to step outside of my dog comfort zone and helped me to become a better dog mom and a better person. I have learned so much from him and thru him. It really does make me wonder who rescued who.
