4 years ago I rescued "HOSS" from a GA kill shelter hours before euthanasia. A great volunteer team got him to me since I am a senior living on SS. He was HW+ and during treatment came close to death. HIs weight fell to 50 lbs from 95. Everyone that saw him and his suffering encouraged me to put him down. I almost did but his eyes told me he was not done. His head is still sunk in under the cap but the rest of him came back. This photo represents never giving up until they do. He is healthy, strong and full of life , love and heartworm free.
