Have you heard about our calendar photo contest? This is a fun way to claim bragging rights for your most photogenic / beautiful / handsome / amazing / wonderful / mischievous Newfoundland in the whole world. Be creative with your photos and get that campaign plan ready (family, friends, coworkers, social media contacts, hairdresser, strangers on the street, people who owe you favors) to encourage those votes ($5 minimum) to roll in for your Newfs and to benefit the Newfs at Colonial Newfoundland Rescue, who have not found their forever home…yet.
There are a few ways to participate in this fundraising contest:
- Visit the website- register and enter a good quality photo of your Newf(s) for $25. You will automatically get 10 free votes for your Newf. Then it is up to you to work your magic and contacts and rack up those votes for your wonderful Newf. NO PEOPLE ALLOWED IN PHOTOS! PLEASE MAKE SURE THE PHOTO IS THE ORIGINAL PHOTO!
- Visit the website- buy votes. They are $1 per vote ($5 minimum) and can be used for any Newf in the contest.
- Visit the website- buy a Date Block. Select a specific date that has special meaning to you (i.e. birthday, holiday, anniversary, Newf birthday or adoption date, first kiss) and submit a photo for that block. These Date Blocks are first come, first served and are $20 each. Include your dog's name and a caption with NO more than 10 letters/numbers. The photo must fit in a square and be a good quality resolution.
- Purchase hundreds (ok dozens?) of 2025 calendars to give as gifts. The calendars each $35 and mailed to you. You can pre-order on the website http://gogophotocontest.com/colonialnewfrescue or on our website at colonialnewfrescue.org. (Suggested if ordering multiple calendars that require shipping). Shipping included within the continental United States. No shipping outside of the United States.
