Colonial Newfoundland Rescue Inc. was established in 2016 as a 501c3 Rescue. Prior to that the rescue was under Colonial Newfoundland Club which was established in 1986. We rescue purebred Newfoundland dogs from DC, MD, VA and WV. The dogs are placed into foster homes and given the medical and personal care needed. They are then placed up for adoption. Our rescue requires the applicants to live in DC, MD, VA and some of WV. All applicants go through an approval process.
