Prizes

• The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entrants that receive the most community votes through the 5-week voting period.
• All 13 winners will receive a professional photo session by Whimsical Paws Studio for their photo that will appear in the 2026 calendar.
• The 1st place winner will be featured as the cover model!
• 2nd - 13th place winners will be featured as a pet of the month inside the calendar.
• All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session, if desired.

*If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to a professional photo session with Whimsical Paws Studio at a pre-selected location within Craven or Carteret County during the summer of 2025. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during that time or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected locations, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.

One pet each week who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini contest prize from one of the participating businesses. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets.
