Not long after Max passed, I visited Cat's Cradle to make a donation. Abby saw me sit down, kitten-hopped over, jumped up on my lap and began nuzzling my neck. In a minute she had crawled up and was curled in a ball on my chest, napping. She was so "chill" and captured my heart in that moment. I didn't think I was ready for a new kitty, but Abby decided otherwise. Today she lives happily with Senorita Jumping Bean (Rita.) They share a 7th floor balcony catio overlooking treetops where birds and butterflies fly by to visit and tease them.
