Your Pet's Story or Bio
We went to the AWLA on Saturday, July 23, 2016, on "Clear the Shelters" weekend, "just to look." We had lost one of our dear kitties a month before, and we had a hole in our hearts. We asked the volunteer if there was a cat that might be less easy to adopt out for one reason or another. She said that many people don't like black cats, and introduced us to Satin. Satin was 8 years old, and her family had given her up because there was a new baby. She only had one tooth! People would come up to her cage, read the card and say, "What's this cat's name -- SATAN?!" We decided she would be our angel. She lost her tooth somehow the first week home, but she eats like a champ and makes us laugh every day. She's our Satin Doll. Please vote for her!
