A little about me...
We were able to adopt Pauley after he had been placed in foster care by a shelter in eastern Michigan. Our beloved papillon Lacie had just been diagnosed with an inoperable tumor. Callie, our cairn terrier mix, is a rescue who had a rough beginning and depended on Lacie to help her with anxiety. When it was clear that Lacie wasn’t going to survive, we knew we had to find another companion for Callie. Papillons very rarely become available on rescue sites, and when we saw Pauley’s posting we immediately called about him. Pauley and Callie bonded right away, and they spend all of their time together.

Pauley brought joy into our lives at a time of grief. We are so glad that he joined our family. Every day is brightened by his exuberance and love for all of us! He is our miracle, and we will love him forever.
