Pet's Story
My older son, Logan, had been asking for a cat for quite a long time, and we decided that maybe it was time last Christmas. We needed to come up with some kind of story to allow us to get the cat prior to Christmas while still keeping it a secret. One night it came to me, we would say that my sister had asked us to take care of the cat until Christmas Eve, when it would become a gift for my niece. My sister, Lori Carlson, was thrilled to help and the texts and calls started laying the groundwork. It was a season of secrets. On December 16th, we picked up Storm (formerly known as "Andrew"). Lori's requests for status updates were convincing and "Cat Surprise" was a success. Storm has been an awesome addition to our family and brightens our days
