Your Pet's Story or Bio / What Makes Them Unique
Sage, her four siblings, and her Mama, Honey, were all rescued from the snowy, cold in February. Sage's namesake is snowboarder Sage Kotsenburg. He won the first ever Olympic gold medal in men's snowboard slopestyle at the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi! So, she appeared in the Puppy Olympics on WCNC and followed a trail of treats to victory! We found Sage online and loved her cute little face and her story. Since finding her home with us, she loves running in and out of the house through her doggy door and terrorizing the yard squirrels. She also enjoys hiking, canoeing, frequenting the local breweries and going to doggy day care. When Sage is home, she chews on sticks, sniffs the kitty (and subsequently gets hissed at), tears apart toys to free the squeaker, and plays with her friends when they come over to visit.
