These 2 GCSPCA boys are outnumbered in our home where we also have 3 female dogs and a female cat. Shiloh came to us at 1 year of age and was rescued from a less than suitable home. He had a pine straw cord hanging out of his rectum. He was severely underweight and couldn't keep food down. After a quick x-ray it was determined he also had an entire stuffed dog toy stuck in his belly. Worse, the squeaker from the toy was blocking his intestines. After surgery and several months of recovery on his very sensitive tummy he gained an optimal 25 pounds. Shiloh loves playing outdoors in the winter, and laying on the cool tile floor inside in the summer. Tanner was a GCSPCA adoption from last Christmas. As a family we decided we needed him after loosing our other furry GCSPCA baby at the young age of 3 to cancer earlier that summer. Tanner is a ball of energy and loves to do crazy things. This day we caught both of the boys bouncing together on the trampoline. I'm not sure how Tanner made it up there but I'm certain Shiloh gave him a boost. A little brotherly love! Some people call us crazy, but for us 5 dogs makes our family complete. We wouldn't have it any other way....especially when we have GCSPCA foster babies too.
