Your Pet's Story or Bio / What Makes Them Unique
At approximately 3.5 months old, Emmy, along with her brother Issac, was left for dead in a dumpster. After being rescued from the dumpster, it became obvious that both dogs were emaciated and needed veterinarian care as soon as possible. GCSPCA quickly contacted Dr. Pressly and he determined that Emmy was severely kicked as a puppy and needed hip surgery to allow her to walk and grow, without pain, into a healthy family member. Of course, GCSPCA stepped up to the plate and paid for both Emmy and Issac's much needed health care costs.

Fast forward to today: Emmy is a happy, healthy, girl that should reach a whopping 70lbs! After 6 months with her foster family, Emmy decided that she couldn't imagine living anywhere else and adopted their family. Emmy enjoys playing with her 3 furry siblings, and the endless fosters that her Mom continues to take in. But at the end of the day, all she really wants to do is snuggle on the couch with Mom and Dad.
