About your pet
Murphy was my canine kindred spirit, my most beloved pooch from the day he joined our family on December 31, 2010 to the day he crossed the rainbow bridge, June 25, 2023.

I remember the first time I met my crazy, beautiful boy. True to his character, which we would quickly come to know and love, he couldn’t decide whether to respond to the stranger danger, or the love-at-first-sight for his soon-to-be human mama. So he charged at me barking and growling only to cover my face in doggy kisses with a furiously wagging tail when he reached me. He was almost six months old.

We had 12 and a half wonderful years with Murphy and if we’d had 100 years it wouldn’t have been enough. He was the dog that my two youngest children grew up with. He was the dog that loved me like none other before him and I know none to come after him will love me quite the same. Certainly no other dog will share my love of oranges like he did; I couldn’t peel an orange without him coming running for his piece (or two). He really was my canine kindred spirit.
