Copper Country Humane Society is pleased to announce their second annual Cutest Pet Photo Contest. The contest will allow participants to upload digital photos and a caption of their beloved companion.
The contest will award prizes to top three donation vote getting entrants in each category. Beginning April 11th at 8:00 AM (EST), log on to
http://www.cchumanesociety.com click on the link to the pet photo contest upload your photo, add your contact info and your caption then vote, vote, vote!
All proceeds will be applied to the cost of caring for the homeless and neglected pets awaiting adoption at the Copper Country Humane Society in Houghton, Michigan.
- Submit your pet's photo beginning on April 11, 2015.
- Photos are displayed on the website for voting until 11:59:59 PM (EST), April 30, 2015. Voting closes at 12:00 AM (EST) May 1, 2015.
- Votes are $1.
- Photos may contain more than one pet.
- By uploading a photo you certify that you or a family member took the photo and it was not taken by a professional.
- You may enter as many photos as you want, however keep in mind that friends and family votes add up, so spreading those votes among multiple entries limits your chances of winning.
- When you donate to vote, you have the option to "bank" your votes, which can then be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place a few here, a few there, each $1 donation counts as 1 vote.
- You can e-mail links to family/friends to encourage voting for your pet's photo.
- On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites.
- All submitted photos become the property of CCHS to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes.
- The CCHS is a 501(c) (3) organization. Donations are tax deductible. All donations are non- refundable.
- The e-mail acknowledgment reply to your online donation serves completely as your tax receipt.

- Submissions and votes are accepted from anyone interested in the contest and not limited to the local
- Important: if your submission is low resolution, contains inappropriate content, or poor quality, your image may be removed or you may be asked for a better quality image.
