Tell Us About Your Pet
We adopted Dixie, a Pit/Lab/Setter mix, as a pup 11 years ago from QAC animal shelter, and she's been a wonderful pet ever since! Due to unavoidable circumstances, my father took Dixie in "temporarily" in 2007 until our family was able to have her back. One year turned into two and as dad and Dixie bonded we realized they loved each other too much to ever separate them.
This picture was taken when Dixie was with us for several months last year as my dad recovered from surgery. She enjoyed her time back with her original family and is pictured here greeting me at the door with her best feline friend, Betty! We adopted beautiful Betty as a kitten 5 years ago. She is gentle and sweet and she loves when Dixie comes to visit!!
