Congregational Outreach Ministries Program Assistance and Social Services (COMPASS), is an outreach ministry of the Broad Street Presbyterian Church, that collaborates with other Faith-Based organizations, for the purpose of preventing homelessness and promoting self-sufficiency. COMPASS has been in existence for over 40 years, providing both rental and utility services to Central Ohio residents.

In 2023, COMPASS served 43 zip codes of Franklin County, annually supporting an average of 1000 families with rent and utility assistance. As the economic impact looms past the Covid-19 pandemic, the need for our support has never been greater. Numerous families continue to experience the inflation burden that has lead to rising housing costs, and increased eviction filings. Due to lack of consistent funding, we are turning away about 20 families a month, that we would have otherwise supported.

COMPASS would greatly appreciate your vote, to help us to continue helping families stay housed, therefore avoiding evictions and eventual homelessness.
