My Very Own Blanket

My Very Own Blanket is dedicated to warming the heart of every child & teen in the foster care system and in need with a blanket or quilt, giving them a feeling of comfort, security and most of all, a SMILE!

For 25 years, MVOB has provided hundreds of thousands of blankets and quilts, partnering with schools, service organizations, faith based organizations, businesses, senior living communities, developmentally disabled centers and community members to handmake blankets then distributed to public/private foster care agencies. These blankets and quilts are provided as a freewill donation to the organizations.

How can a blanket make a difference?

"I just wanted to send a THANK YOU for everything you do. My wife and I just accepted our first foster care placement in late May, (we are first time parents). Through organizations' care packages the girls received blankets. They use them every day and they mean so much to them. They came with next to nothing, just the clothes on their backs, so having these blankets has helped their transition into our home. They will not go to bed without them each night, so thank you!
